VIE - MARKETING & DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER

Type: VIE (internship/traineeship)
Location: SoHo, New York, NY - USA.
Start date: September 1, 2019
Duration: 18 months

 

About the position
In this position, you will be a key member of the Palais des Thes team in the USA and a key point of contact for the French HQ Marketing and eCommerce teams. You will split your time between creating and/or managing all marketing & digital marketing campaigns of Palais des Thés and actively coming up with new ideas to further develop the brands awareness and customers base and loyalty in the US (through Partnerships & Events, Foodservice and Retail visibility). You will work closely with our HQ Marketing, Communication and eCommerce teams in Paris (France), as well as with our sales and operations teams in NY. In this position, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in all marketing & digital marketing aspects of a growing, international business in the US.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree minimum, or BAC+5 minimum
- Excel in efficient time management and continuous prioritization of tasks
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

Requirements:
- Previous experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing, eCommerce or Business Development
- Fluent in English, able to speak some French
- Fluent with Microsoft Office environment

 

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Create and manage all campaigns for our website (eg product launch banners, newsletters, promotional offers etc.) and for third party partners as need be.
- Coordinate on-going website improvement projects with HQ team and/or agency (eg website content and functionalities) and manage relationship with eCommerce customers (key point of contact for them).
- Create and manage PR campaigns, coordinate press releases, building strong relationships with journalists, bloggers and influencers.
- Create and manage social media content (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) in line with social media strategy.
- Activate and manage online/offline events, sponsorships & partnerships (eg. e-sampling, giveaways, donations etc.) to grow brand awareness, customer base and visibility
- Coordinate the development of our Tea School and organize tea tasting classes.
- Create and manage trade marketing tools for both Foodservice and Retail partners to support the sales team efforts (eg. branded signs, merchandising plans, tradeshow booth design, special events etc.)
