About the FACC

Founded in 1896, the French-American Chamber of Commerce, New York Chapter (FACC-NY) is a bi-national, independent, non-profit association devoted to the development of economic relations between the U.S. and France, and to the growth of it 1,000+ members in the New York area. FACC members range from multinational corporations to startups, are French and American, and cover the entire spectrum of the French economic presence in NYC, from fashion/luxury to finance to food/beverages and more.

The FACC Foundation, a FACC subsidiary, offers scholarships to deserving French students pursuing graduate level business degrees in the U.S. and to Americans pursuing similar programs in France. The FACC-NY is the largest of an 18 Chapter national network present in all major metropolitan U.S. cities and integrating 5,000+ members. It is also a member of the International French Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCI FI), a Paris-based organization that supports the development of 114 French Chambers of Commerce located in 78 countries.

Membership services include: 25+ networking & information sharing events (including sector-based events: technology, luxury/fashion, food/beverage/hospitality, women in business, finance, HR, young executive), customized member-to-member introductions, online networking tools, and human resource services.

In addition to facilitating networking for its New York members, the FACC offers inbound services aimed at French companies that wish to set up a New York presence: basic information about doing business in the United States, personalized introductions to FACC member business leaders and experts (law, accounting, logistics, etc.).

FACC CoWork is a coworking space for French entrepreneurs and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) that are in the early stages of developing a U.S. presence and need a temporary base from where to conduct their market research. What distinguishes FACC CoWork from other NYC coworking spaces is its integration with the FACC network: CoWorkers benefit from the customized, personal-level assistance of the FACCs experienced team and access to the Chambers various events (networking, seminars, roundtable discussions) and online networking services.

Current CoWorkers industries include: virtual communications, law, executive search, knowledge transfer experts, a top French business school, and more. The space includes 8 dedicated desks and 4 "flying" desks in a world-class building in midtown Manhattan. It is in walking distance to 13 subway lines, two trains stations and The Port Authority bus terminal. Desks can be rented by the day, by the week or by the month.
