Lagardère Sports US, a growing division based in New York City, is looking for a Financial Analyst Intern for 6 months, starting in July.

 

Position Description:

The role will provide support across all areas of the FP&A function to deliver monthly reporting to the headquarters and provide operational support to US activities.

Primary responsibilities will be to provide ongoing support to the Finance Department in producing financial planning and consolidated reporting. The individual will take part in the reporting and forecasting process under the supervision of the Manager of FP&A and will contribute to provide analytical support to Finance Management & the Executive team.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Budgeting and Forecasting for all divisions
  • Working closely with the Finance Department on the month-end and quarter-end close processes

     

  • Supporting management in development of various presentations including ExCom and Global Business Units meetings

  • Providing ad-hoc analysis to the headquarters or business units

 

Profile Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • Good knowledge and background of accounting practices (US GAAP and IFRS)
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools
  • Ability to work cross functionally with various departments
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
