About the position

In this position, you are a key member of the Palais des Thés team in the USA. You are responsible for developing the fast-growing Food Service activity of Palais des Thés in North America and execute the strategy to meet our ambitious sales goals. You will split your time between the active search of new Food Service clients and the development of existing Food Service clients. You will work closely with your counterparts in the Food Service team, the HQ in France (Paris) as well as the marketing and operations teams both in the US and in France. In this position, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in all sales development and management aspects of a growing, international company.

  • BA/BS degree minimum
  • Experience in sales and business development
  • Superior time management and ability to prioritize tasks autonomously
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, strong written/oral communication skills

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Sales (new accounts acquisition)
  • Develop lead database
  • Prospect new accounts
  • Track your own sales funnel and create new sales leads and contacts
  •  Prepare proposals
  • Send product samples and follow up with clients
  • Participate in / lead sales meetings and tea trainings
  • Customer relationship and development (existing customers)
  •  Maintain contact with existing B2B clients to discuss needs and promote further sales
  • Help organize and conduct point-of-sales initiatives (e.g. trainings, events etc.)
  •  Help develop sales materials (e.g. catalogs, displays, menus, shelf-talkers, material for tradeshows, emailing)
