Job Description

The FACC is hiring a full-time Associate Director, International Career Development Programs (ICDP).

The FACC is an officially designated U.S. Department of State sponsor for the Exchange Visitor Program. ICDP sponsors trainees to come to the U.S. on the Exchange Visitor Program which utilizes the J-1 visa and has a reciprocal out-bound program for Americans to participate in training missions in France.

ICDP Associate Directors are well-versed in performance and operations management of international exchange programs and competent in assuming delegated duties. They are leaders and critical thinkers, ready to solve problems before they become obstacles.

 

Responsibilities

 

Act as Responsible Officer (RO) in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), producing annual reports and expansions requests as required

Manage program staff, ensuring goals and objectives are met as well as providing coaching and training, as needed
Serve as primary interface to and assure positive ongoing relations with Business France, OFII, U.S. Department of State and U.S. Embassy in Paris.

Develop and cultivate strong partnerships with key host company accounts in the U.S. and France as well as American and French universities to cross-sell ICDP and the FACC Foundation
Demonstrate expertise in U.S. Department of State and OFII federal regulations that govern our exchange programs, ensuring program compliance and adherence to internal policies

Assure reporting of ICDP program usage (volumes and revenues) that is consistent and coherent in all presentations and reports
See to department staffing needs (e.g. interviewing, hiring, new hire and ongoing training, annual evaluations etc.)

Participate in budget development and monitoring of expenses

Requirements
Experience in international exchange or educational programs
Knowledge of relevant J-1 Visa regulations and program quality standards
Proven performance and operations management experience
French and English fluency (read, write, speak)
Proficient in MS Office, relational databases and software (e.g. ERP)
Outstanding communication and public speaking skills
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Aptitude in problem-solving
Minimum BS/BA in business administration or related field; masters degree preferred
