Administrative Assistant Bookkeeper

 

We are seeking a bright, detail-oriented, and organized Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our awesome team. We need a go-getter. Someone who is motivated, smart, not easily deterred from accomplishing a complicated task, and not afraid to ask questions.

 

You will be working closely with our leadership team to fulfill both administrative and bookkeeping tasks. Having experience in both areas is not required but is ideal, and you should have proven experience in at least one area (either Bookkeeping or Admin) and your resume should reflect this.

 

Our office is located in Kew Gardens, Queens less than a block away from the E/F train (Kew Gardens/Union Turnpike station). Please only apply if you are able to commute to our office in Queens, as we are not looking for freelancers or remote employees at this time.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling the companys financial records, entering data, generating work orders, and making super fun spreadsheets.
  • Managing the CEOs calendar, scheduling meetings, organizing all the stuff, and helping her out with whatever she needs help doing (dont worry, you will NOT be making her coffee).
  • Supporting the creative and production team. Be the glue that holds them together. This means helping out when needed and occasional communication with our IT company to help get issues solved (no IT experience necessary, just know your way around computer basics and know how to stay on top of people).
  • Nurturing the office. Helping keep the place tidy, organized, stocked, and overall functioning like a well-oiled marketing machine!

 

Required Skills

  • Tenacious/get-stuff-done kind of personality and work ethic
  • Previous professional experience in either Bookkeeping or Office Administration/Admin Assisting
  • Familiarity with Mac computers
