Account Executive

TRANSMARK PARTNERS POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

OBJECTIVE: The Account Executive is responsible for brand management, business development and product marketing for our European clients in the US market. She/He will partner with the brand executives in Europe/France to understand the companys objectives and culture, in order to develop a successful US market entry strategy.

 

The role and responsibilities within Account management are dynamic and include: customer research and insights, competitive analysis, marketing & branding roadmap, operational monitoring and digital strategy.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Development Consulting

 

  1. Conduct preliminary interviews with the brand team to understand the needs and define the scope of the consulting project.

     

  2. Seek market insights through in depth competitive analysis to identify key opportunities and challenges within the business area

     

  3. Establish a market entry strategy including brand positioning, target channels, marketing and a roadmap to implement this strategy.

     

  4. Build a budget to support launch: develop revenue, pricing and gross margin forecasts based on product costing, market sizing and channel opportunities.

 

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Implementation & Follow up

 

  1. Partner with the key departments from the brand in Europe (Sales, Marketing, Operations) to share relevant information and coordinate action to ensure a successful launch of the project

     

  2. Manage planning and revenue forecasting accuracy, as well as key performance metrics. Report results to the brand for review.

     

  3. For digital strategies: define and implement ecommerce platform development in collaboration with a web agency.

     

  4. Create all relevant marketing & sales materials to support the brand positioning and business in the US

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Skills and Experience

 

  1. 2+ years of marketing and product management experience within consumer goods industry.

     

  2. Experience in product management within an international context.

     

  3. Masters degree in business and marketing.

     

  4. Ability to drive projects through a detailed management process. Keen understanding of all aspects of a brand operation lifecycle including market launch, sales forecasting, pricing, positioning, logistic and daily operation

     

  5. Creativity to develop and deploy diverse problem-solving models, ability to build business cases through strong financial and analytical skills.

  2. Entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter, with an ability to work independently, manages multiple-products, and move quickly.

     

  3. Superior communication (verbal, written, and presentation to all levels of a company) skills.

     

  4. Able to lead, influence and gain buy-in / followership without formal authority.

     

  5. Experience collaborating with project teams spanning multiple cultures and time-zones.

     

  6. Willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally to visit partners and to do field study

     

  7. Fluent in French and English. Strong interest in and appreciation of French Culture
